After resuming cooperation with public institutions in Hong Kong, Sunway Network SA is focusing on developing groundbreaking solutions that elevate training with hashtage#VR technology to an entirely new level.
Until now—aside from a few exceptions—VR training has been limited to individual experiences in small spaces, utilizing controllers or hand gestures tracked by VR headset cameras. However, the demands of today’s market call for more advanced systems. Our company is addressing the needs of professional clients by developing technology that enables coordinated group training in large areas, such as industrial halls, outdoor environments, or specialized training centers.
What exactly are we working on?
Wireless VR Half-Gloves:
Lightweight design covering only the palm and wrist, equipped with sensors tracking finger positions and hand orientation (6DOF).
Capable of tracking hand gestures even outside the field of view of VR headsets and functioning independently when the headsets are turned off.
Advanced Positioning System:
Supports up to 30 users in areas ranging from 50 x 50 meters to 200 x 200 meters.
Positioning precision up to 2 cm, unaffected by obstacles such as walls or other participants.
Independent 6DOF positioning for the head and hands, eliminating dependency on VR headsets.
VR Headsets Optimized for Public Use:
Design minimizes direct contact with the face, ensuring hygiene and comfort.
Optional peripheral real-world vision for users who may not tolerate complete disconnection from reality.
Complete, Mobile VR System:
Modular kits for 5, 10, or 20 participants, packed in portable transport cases.
A compact central computer managing the shared metaverse in real time.
Why are we doing this?
We have developed a system that is the first on the market to enable group VR training in expansive training areas, adapted to large-scale objects. This solution addresses the growing demand among professional clients for flexible, scalable VR technologies that can be used in any environment.
